how much does it cost weekly to feed an adult white throat monitor on average.

If you ask how much to feed a WT you probably cant afford one because food is about 1/3rd of the expense of keeping one and its not cheap. I order frozen mice and peeps in large amounts at low prices, some people who have large collections raise their own mice, its still expensive any way you do it. A WT is usually a voracious feeder but the amount they need to eat depends on how old they are as young growing lizards need to eat alot, and mature lizards less. Females need more than males etc. They can eat anywhere from 20-60 crickets as a hatchling, or many roaches, or a few mice to ; a young adult that eats up to 3-6 mice a day; to an adult that eats once or twice a week about 5 mice or so. Housing is the other big expense, electricity and vet bills are not cheap if you ever need a vet.
