A tame waxbill, or finch... or talking waxbill or finch. In BirdTalk June2003 issue. They have a whole issue on the taming of handfed finches. And have a little thin box saying an owners red headed finch clearly says "turkey, turkey." Just wondering... I don't think my waxbills will be tame in million years. And for that matter talk aswell.

Most of my Aviary birds are used to fly to me and takeing mealworms from between my fingers - Many of my javas do it, and my Red Bishops as well -

My male canary, luto, who is around 7 years old now is quite tame, and will come rest on my shoulder when im working inside the cage - He is verry fond of greens and can often be temped to perch on my hand with the promise of some fresh collard green -

None of them talk though, Or at least ive never heard them, but my parrots and other birds make up the bulk of noise and talking, specifically my amazon and macaw -
