Thanks to everyone who responded to my problem. He seems to be improving a little everyday. I gave him the second round of ivermectin yesterday and today was the first time he "peeped" since Ive had him. He definetly will not drink the water with the meds in it. So I give it to him with a syringe. Just a few drops. Also plenty of fresh veggies. I give him romain lettuce everyday. At first I was putting him outside during the day and bringing him in at night. But its so hot & humid here now, that I just leave him in. Im afraid the change from hot to cool & dry will bother him. My parakeets ( gang of bandits )live outside all year long in a large avairy, and they are as healthy as can be. But for now I will keep him in. His appetite is good, and Im pulling for him. Will keep you posted, thanks again, Diane

Glad to know he is feeling better. You're doing the right thing to avoid temperature extremes for him until he totally recovers!

Keep us updated on his recovery!

Great! I'm glad he's better
Just make sure he's not near any type of heat/air vent. You don't want to add any more stress to the little guy. A constant temp is better. They LOOOOOVE greens, collards are a favorite here.
Let us know how he's doing.
