Can a budgerigar and Zebra finches share the same cage?

zhenchok Jul 14, 2003 11:08 PM

I have a parakeet and a colony of zebra finches, I was wondering if they can all share a cage together. The cage itself is 39 inches tall ,32 inches wide, and 21 inches deep. Thanks.

No. That's a disaster waiting to happen. Zebra finches are tiny and easily frightened by larger birds. Budgies have a beak that could really hurt a little finch.
