food variety for an AFT

alieliza Oct 12, 2003 01:13 PM

I keep an eight month old, male fat tail. He is feeding on meal worms and crickets. Meal worms more than crickets, because he seems to be too slow to catch the crix, so i pull their legs off and put em in a dish. I was wondering what kind of variety i could offer to him. Superworms, butter worms, wax worms?????
thanks

Super worms are fine, wax worms should be used sparingly like a couple every couple weeks. Never used butter worms but I believe their fine. I offer mine pinkies every 2-4 weeks and it sure keeps them healthy.
