sorry if this has been asked already, i searched and didn't find anything.
an acquaintance is looking for society finches [we're in toronto, canada], and wants to make sure that she gets males so there is no breeding. however, she told me that all the breeders in the area said they can't sex their birds. i searched online and most society finch websites said that sexing is fairly easy, because only the males sing and they sing quite often. if this is true, i wonder if the breeders around here are trustworthy. if it's not true, well, we want to know that too.
so! sexing society finches. easy or impossible?
