No, you're not! I have several birds of different species but no Gouldians. If you can't find any, I'd recommend zebra finches. They are wonderful, energetic little birds, and need to have a mate because they're very social birds. At night, just before going to sleep, they have the softest little chirp. It's very soothing to hear.
