Finch temperature

chase1 Feb 20, 2006 02:46 PM

I am interested in buying a pair of Finches...I will be keeping them in my Reptile room , which is at a constant 90 F degrees.. Should I buy a genera of Fiches that is more accustom to this temperature. PS.. My reptiles are in locked enclosures with no accesss to these or my Parrots.

if you are going to try to do this, you would probably need to acclimatize the finches. First start them off with their "normal" temps, then over the course of several months, raise the temps a bit at a time until they were at the level you want. Just my opinion, though.
