Hello!
I am hoping you guys can help me.
I have a pair of zebras that have bonded very well and started to lay eggs.
Thier first egg hatched out on Feb 21st/06 and the second was tossed from the nest. After a bit of inspection i really dont think it was viable. The second baby is quite a loud and demanding baby. 
I am a bit concered because my baby zebbie is a month and 8 days old and there is another egg in the nest. All he does is cry and cry to be fed. Is this normal? when should i remove him to his own space?
I found him today in the nest huddled by the new egg.
I am worried about taking him out of the cage because i am concerned about him not being able to eat on his own.
