where to cuckoos fall?

im wondering what catagory cuckoos fall into so forgive me if this is the wrong one.
i have recently fallen in love with Guira Cuckoos but cant seem to find out if their available as pets or any care info for them

Have you tried googoling them? I found this link on cuckoos in general on google.com: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuckoo

They don't sound like great birds for most people to keep as a pet, however they might be the perfect bird for you.
