I have a male canary who had a mate but she died over the summer. Today when I went to buy birdfood at the pet store there was a sign that said there was a yellow canary for adoption. Me, being the animal lover that I am and thinking that Georgie(my canary) would like a new friend, adopted the new canary and promptly took it home and put it with Georgie. I don't know if the new canary is a boy or girl and I'm not sure that the birds are getting along. It looks like Georgie is chasing the new one around. I can't afford to buy another cage right now what should I do? Please help! I'm new at taking care of birds. Thanks!
