I notice that my tiel only squaks at something he does not like or that frightens him, maybe there is something near his cage in the new home that he just does not like. Does he do it in various areas or usually in the same place?? If so you might try moving things near his cage towards him and see if he just hisses a little or squaks at it. We had some Greys at the petstore I worked at that would scream at the yellow handle of the broom if we took it near them, so we had to get a new broom. Just an idea
