By Jove, I think he`s got it!

It`s official: Piper does tricks.
All previous tricks have been trivial. He`ll ring a bell when I show it to him. He`ll stretch his wings for me. (I`ve yet to get either of these on a command. When I can do that, then they`ll be something). He`ll also touch and follow the `target` (a chopstick). Pretty silly stuff.

Well, now he also stacks colored rings on a peg. He has a difficult time managing it, but it`s pretty clear that he knows what I want now. Sometimes, in his enthusiasm, he knocks the peg right over. Silly bird.

I had a tiel, Sunny who likes to untie knots. She is with my niece now. Anyway I would increase the difficulty of the knots and she always managed to untie them without breaking the cord. I was impressed. It would be cool to see Piper stacking rings. I have wondered about teaching my girl tricks.

Piper adores knots, but definately prefers them to be tied in brightly colored lanyard strings.
