hi i have a cockatiel that i just got and he is not chiping at all and eating only a little. please help.

He is most likely scared. Just talk to him gently and give him time to adjust. Also make sure you're feeding him what the store or breeder fed him. They are reluctant to try new foods even at the cost of starvation. Also maybe offer him some millet. They love that.
