rusti Nov 28, 2004 03:28 PM

hey

I am concidering purchasing a cockatiel and have a few questions...

1. how large does the cage have to be?
2. how do you feed them? how often?
3. what type of bedding should you use?
4. how often do you clean out the cage?
5. what do you need to put in the cage with the bird (toys, water dish, stick, etc.)?
6. how large do they get?
7. are they loud alot of the time or can you make them shut up?
8. what is the most common problem with cockatiels?
9. about how much do they cost when the cage, toys, bedding, etc. are added together?
10. can you teach them to "talk"?
11. veterinary checkups?
12. can they get sick easily?
13. do they stay quiet during the night?
14. is there any type of exercise that they require?

I think that's all. please respond!!!
also, please attatch a picture of your beautiful bird and/or it's cage.

thanks
