Please if anyone can point me into the right direction that would be great. The Breeder I bought the 2 teils from want to know if I wanted a paleface tiel. I don't know what they look like....

Awww they are really cute.

They look pale faced. Not sure what your breeder means by that. Did s/he explain?

Hello,

Here are two links that show you a variety of pastelface tiels.

Yes, they have a much lighter cheek patch... in lutino's and some pieds you can hardly even see it. They are very pretty.

Those two are both whitefaced (whiteface lutino and whiteface pearl, I do believe). That`s a completely different mutation from pale or pastel face (which I think are the same thing...?)
I`ve only seen one cockatiel with that mutation. He was a male cockatiel, and his colors were more muted then you would see in a normal grey. We named him Xerox because his appearance and behavior were a `pale immitation` of my normal grey male, Sana. The pale face mutation is pretty cute if you ask me.

I should also mention that, by my understanding, this is a pretty rare and expensive mutation!

That's clever and funny too!!!

The cleverness is all due to my roomie Lori, who actually came up with the name. His adoptive family liked the name and kept it.
