When you get your bird show us a picture and give us the age. We may be able to tell you if its a boy or girl.
a dark under tail, female is yellow & black stripes. I have the normal grey, he's male.
Also what age is your bird? If it hasn't had it's first molt it'll be hard to tell but not always impossible.

try again. My male with the black undertail & after his first molt. 9 months old.

With the whiteface mutation, there`ll be no yellow on the bird no matter the sex.
But other than that: a mature male will have a bright white face, and a solid colored tail.
A female will have a light grey face, and white and grey stripes on her tail and butt.
An immature bird will look like a female. So if the bird is less than 6 months, you need to have it DNA sexed to be certain. After 6 months they begin to molt, and by a year they usually have their full adult plummage. So by a year old, if it still looks like a girl, it`s a girl.
