Hi everyone! I have an opportunity to get a female whiteface cinnamon pearl heavy pied that is very tame and is 4 months old for $50.00. Is that a good deal?
Thanks!

That is an average price for a cockatiel. They range from $25-$100 here. Your main concern should be the home you can provide for the bird after you purchase it. The initial cost is the cheapest thing about owning a bird. You have the cage (which should be fairly large), toys, food (both fresh and processed/seed), regular vet visits and emergency care. These are all ongoing expenses we have to think about when purchasing any animal. If you're prepared for those expenses and like the bird then go for it
.
Well, i already have the cage, food, and toys, and i also have another cockatiel.(they will be kept seperate if i decide to get this one.) The lady emailed me back and said that this bird does not get along well with other birds, and that it won't sit on your shoulder if you have another bird on your shoulder. I am not really sure if i want to get this one or not. I might have to go to her house and meet the bird first.
Thanks for your help!
