My tiel is 8 yrs old and recently I've noticed that her grip on my finger is weaker than in the past. She seems to slip backwards a little. I recently had her nails clipped but I've always done that 3 or 4 times a year. Maybe I shouldn't clip her nails anymore? Has anyone had any experience with this? I don't think 8 is old yet, just middle aged. She seems very healthy otherwise.
