I really haven't a clue what may be wrong. I have a habbit of saving frogs from the reptile store because they don't have a clue.I am very concerend a would like any advice. It has also been getting quite cold way up here in Canada at night so I have been using a heating pad at night. How do frogs act when or if it may be too warm.

Shoot an e-mail to Dr.Frye@comcast.net he is very nice and helpful. I am treating my male Azureus right now for a skin problem.

Unfortunatley there are four frogs that I have in the tank are ones that I have saved from the local pet store. Thay are rangeing from two to three years in age. I just breoght a new one in that was in a tank by himself and was captive bread. the viv Is high in humidity. All are eating but the azureus.

Ok, now I know there is an azureus, but what are the others? What size is the tank? Genders? All of these factors can influences in the health of the frogs.

One River Tink, one Azures, green and black Auratus and one broze Auratus. The Tink, bronze and auratus have been together for three quaters ot a year. The green and black is my latest rescue. He is the only one that is not acting irragular, eating lots and standing up. what about poop how often to cahange moss wipe down everything. could it be gas.

What SIZE is your tank....very important. These animals can be stressed very easily by tankmates if not enough room is allowed.

35 gallon

This might be an instance in which the animals are overcrowded. You should first start off by placing each animal in it's own small "critter keeper" as a quarantine. Use paper towels dampened with declorinated water as a substrate, and add a few pesticide-free pothos (or even fake) leaves for shelter. This way you can monitor each frog's feeding behavior, bowel movements, etc. You said just one auratus is eating, correct? Do you have fruit fly cultures set up?

I changed the moss and cleaned everything up today. The Azureus is eating but still not looking 100%. Everyone else is eating well and looking a lot better. I do have a fifteen gallon I was saving for some Terribilis Mint or Golden if needed be
I will seperate them. They do seem to be doing better. It may have been calicum defficiency. I would not know how long it would take to recover. Everyone can hop arround fine. I put some calcizime in their false botton so that it goes through their stream.

Glad to hear they're doing better. I've had my fair share of pet shop rescues myself, and I don't think I've ever really had a "convenient" rescue. The rescuees always seem to demand something that puts me out a little, but the results always make it all worthwhile!
