My female cockitiel(diamond) has laid several eggs,but will not sit on them,we have a nesting box built she lays them in the bottom of the cage.I pick them up and place them in the box,but she still wont go in,the male will go in and it looks like hes trying to entice her to come in,but to no avail,she knows the egg is there. strange behavior as well she runs back and forth on her perch at a good speed,stops to look in the cage and continues to try and run a marathon.I dont know what to do toconvince her to sit on these eggs.Any suggustions?
