I was thinking of purchasing a cockatoo at a local bird expo from a reliable breeder, but Im not completely sold on it.
I dont want to get a U2 because Ive heard too many horror stories about their screaming and biting. [Please dont tell me that this doesnt apply to all U2s. I KNOW THAT] Same goes for M2.
Ive had other birds before. But this will be my first cockatoo. I almost purchased a Blue & Gold macaw last year, fortunatly I had second thoughts about that decision! So its not like Im a total newbie...
Im leaning towards getting either a DuCorps, Citron, or Goffins.
Advice? Suggestions? Experiences?
I want a bird that will be willing to be handled by others and has a good temperment in general [non biter...though all birds bite]
