My parents have a 9 year old B & G Macaw (Jake) and due to retirement, they travel a lot and cannot take Jake, as I do to and cannot help them out.
Can anyone tell me where to find a website or rescue league to help find Jake a GOOD home in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area? I have spoken with them and from what I understand they are happy with their macaw and do not "need" any immediate placement for him so unless they find a suitable HOME that is close they are going to keep him. Glad to hear there are always people ready to help out a bird in need!
