My daughter just got a new parakeet today. I was wondering if anyone knows what his coloring is called. It is a very pale yellow with no other markings. I will try to post a picture later.

Not positive but usually in most bird species the pale yellow with no other coloring would be a lutino. If it does have other coloring such as barring on the head or black/green on the wings it wouldn't be a lutino. As far as other names of colorations in budgies I really haven't found any. There is tons of info on colorations in cockatiels but there doesn't seem to be much on budgies. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
