Im thinking of getting a bungie and i know they can sometimes talk but if i play songs for them alot could they learn the words of the song?

I won't say that it is impossible but it is pretty doubtful. I have heard of on rare occassions a budgie being able to pick up the words to a song. Even more unlikely is being able to understand the words if it does learn the song. Many people say their budgies will talk and say many things (which of course they can) but because of their tiny voices in comparison to say an amazon or african grey it can be much harder to understand them.

I have had 3 budgies in the pastr and none of then ever learned songs. My first 2 never talked but my 3rd one spoke about 15 to 20 phrases. Hope you like you new pet. Remember if you are going to teach you're budgie to talk be patient, it took a few months for my last bird to talk. Good luck
