I have a female rouen duck and I want to get her another friend. I would like to get her a mate. I had another type of duck (not sure what type) but he got killed by something. If anyone knows where I can get one please let me know.

well i searched on the net as hard as I could and found no hatcheries in Maryland, or in any of its bordering states! did you check with all your local feed stores? if you don't mind ordering a dozen or something, you can also order from hatcheries further away from you via the mail. here is a list of hatcheries:

Then some of the members have rouens, and occasionally they want to get rid of some of their ducks' eggs. If I;m not mistaken they're looking for someoen to take a few now, but they may have already hatched.

they way i got my roeuns was to split an order with someone else i met at a feed store who only wanted a few . most places you order from have a dozen minimum order. so it worked out she new a friend who wanted a few and then we split the others. they have turned out to be great pets for all of us.
