Hi

I don't have any Pekins, but from what i've heard they're fairly easy to handle. If you make sure that you take your time with them, handle them gently and with patience, then they should be ok. Give them plenty of time to get to know you and anyone else that'll want to hold them. Be careful that when you handle them that they don't get stressed out and panic, and that none of their feathers get damaged. You may also have to wear old clothes as they tend to mess where and when they like.

One final thing, be very careful if you have a female that is producing/laying eggs, if you handle her and one of her eggs becomes damaged or broken, or even if she becomes stressed, it could lead to many problems such as egg-binding.
