sneezing?

sandy0066 Feb 23, 2005 11:28 AM

last night, i dried off my ducklings after a nice short swim and put them back into their newly cleaned brooder, one of them appeared to be sneezing, it kept dipping it's face in the water, and scratching it's foot on it's beak. it was acting like it had water up it's noze. this went on for about a minute. any idea what was going on?

Hey,

My ducks do this aswell, normally just after eating or during preening and oiling their feathers. They never seemed bothered by it, it just seems to be normal to them.
