Duckling having diarrhea

amanda82 Apr 26, 2005 03:23 PM

Is it normal for about a 5 week old duckling to have diarrhea. He is on the dumor strater/growht 20% feed. He also loves eating grass when I take him outside. Sometimes he goes solid and then other times it looks like nothing but water. Thanks

Unless the faeces is an usual colour then its sounds normal.
Ducks do naturally have faeces that can be different consistencies. If theres no evidence of worms, blood or any other abnormality, both physically and behavioural, then i wouldn't worry.
