a girl emailed me about her duck egg and i gave her the best advice i could but was hoping someone else might be able o help. her duck is due to hatch in about a week. she thinks. and the egg is solid when candled but she over heated it one night and now where the air sac is she says she can see a line going through it and she is worried about the duck. it is a duck egg that she found and isnt sure of the exact hatch date. i personally had what looked like a line going through my last egg to hatch and when i had to help little roger out it was that the air sac had seperated and kind of had shrunk down from the shell. im not sure if she has the same thing. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i did give her this web site but i will forward her any advice or ideas on what this line may be if you have any suggestions.
