Potty training

pantocrater May 12, 2006 01:08 PM

This probably sounds stupid but it's worth a try; is there any way to potty train a duck? Or do they habitually use their water source as a bathroom (hopefully) or are there any other tricks to keeping a duck inside without geting you know what freakin' everywhere?

Sorry there is no way to potty train a duck. They are physically unable to "hold it" until they reach a suitable potty spot. It is not a behavior issue but rather a physical limitation. You can however diaper a duck or goose so they can be brought inside. Try visiting www.thegoosesmother.com. This woman makes diapers for ducks and geese based on the measurements you provide. She has a really cool site and takes her ducks & geese all over the USA at various fairs and festivals.

Good luck!
