My son brought home three old english chicks (2 months old)from school. I built them a coop and a pen to run around in. As they matured, it became obvious that I did not get one rooster and two hens, but rather two roosters and one hen. Yesterday, I brought one of the roosters back to the school and returned with a new hen from the same batch of eleven.

The original rooster and hen will not stop attacking the new hen. I introduced it to the coop when they were sleeping as I had read that will allow the new hens acceptance into the flock. But it has not worked. If I don't do something soon, I am sure they will kill the new hen. Does anyone out there have any advice?

Thanks
