Muscovy

Does anybody know how old a muscovy gets before she lays eggs? We are waiting to see if spike is a girl or a boy and so far it looks like a girl. But, she is a little more than 7 months old so it seems like she should be laying eggs by now if she was a girl.

If it's female and she has enough daylight, she should start laying. We find that ours need more than 12 hours of light a day to lay.

She started laying a couple of weeks ago!! She's a girl!
