Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anybody has a good Hand feeding recipe for Turket Vultures...I am a licensed Wildlife rehabilitator and rescued 2 baby turkey vulture last year that did great! One is still in my care and the other one was able to be released(Thankfully). This year I was out hiking and I came across a dead adult turkey vulture. I could figure out what had happen to it because it didnt seem to have any broken bones or and wounds. I moved it off of the path and then I heard a loud hiss that startled me. In a near by old wooded shake that was barley standing I found 2 baby turkey vultures. I watched the area for about 2 hours and decided to take the vultures home to care for them. They have been fine for about 2 weeks now and are getting huge! I was wondering if anyone had a a recipe for a hand feeding mix that I could compare to...The recipe I am using now is a good one but the vultures could gain some extra weight. They are slightly under wiegh. They are getting all the vitamins and nuitrence they need but I can always use another recipe to try! This is my first time posting here and like this site a lot. I am not much of a computer person but thought I would give it a try...Just to let everyone know...I am from Northern Virginia. Sorry for such a long post...! Thanks!
