found baby bird in supermarket need help

UroJade Jul 10, 2003 04:59 PM

some one left a baby bird in a cardboard box in the entrance to the super market,i think i must be one of the birds that live in the supermarket overhang that live in the little mud nests the babys eyes open about half way and it has alot of feather quils growing everywhere, i have it wrapped up infront of a space heater far now to warm it up and it went to sleep rite after i wrapped it up, im going to borrow a light from one of my lizard cages to keep it warm at night.can i feed it small bugs and worms or do i need to get it special food?, it seems stong i grabbed my glove with its foot when i picked it up, and wouldn't let go when i put it down
i didnt want to just leave it there to die
