How long would it take for clipped flight feathers to grow back on a pied crow? Thanks.....

1. Clipping a corvid/toucan/softbill/bird of prey, IMHO is as akin to abuse, and really should not, need not be done. If one feels they need to clip a softbilled bird with 2 healthy intact wings, you really have no right keeping it, at all. They get around primarally with thier wings.

A handfed corvid should train quickly, and can be taught where in the house he/she can go, and for outside a feather teather harness, is a good way for the bird to learn how to fly on a creance. An untame parent raised bird should be set up in a spacious aviary. WINGS INTACT....If one can not give these animals these things, one should not be keeping them.

These are not parrots, who have a bill to get around with, and should not be kept and managed as such.

Now, as I don't know your situation, so, this is not directed right at you, but in general for informative purposes regarding corvids, and wing clipping.

2. That said, These birds go through 1 molt a year. A stressed bird/inproperly fed bird may only go through a partial or protracted moult. So it depends on the birds health and when the bird had its wings clipped.
