About ten minutes ago I walked out the basement steps to find three chicks, two dead, one moving, on the cement outside the door. They fell, probably ten feet, from the vent to the fan in our bathroom where their parent(s) built a nest. One is moving, and I think it's neck might be broken, though I'm not sure. It still seems pretty alive, but it can't sit up or anything, it can just move all limbs and looks in pretty alright shape for that size fall. My guess is that they just hatched today, they are tiny, probably two, two and a half inches total length. Their eyes are grey, their bodies a peach, pink, their beaks yellow, their fluff, very, very little, a tiny bit on head, a little bit on back, is dark grey. PLEASE HELP! What can I do to save this little chick? I can't put the alive one back in the nest, it would fall out again, because I can't cage them in, the parentz(s) are always coming and going. Does anyone know what I could feed it? Would worms work? How do I prepare a worm?
