I just read that fledgeling barn swallows look muature like the adults and the one i found definately still does not have all its feathers. He wouldn't eat this morning but i found out that this might be because in the wild they eat almost all insects. He still can't walk well but he can flutter his wings a bit and he seems very alert. Would mealworms be good to feed him cause i don't know where to get flying insects. Also, do i have to give him plain water or can i just soak his food in it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
