Can anybody recommend some good Raptor rehabilitation services or websites that I can get some information from. My family in India are avid bird lovers, and expend a lot of time and resources on rehab and conservation in a very harsh area in Saurashtra. We have often encountered wounded birds, especially raptors ranging from Migratory to common local residents that have either been rescued from local falconers or from other snares or just from electocution or accidental damage and we try our best to rehabilitate them, however, it becomes difficult with the limitation of resources available to us, and the lack of cooperation from local authorities. But we will continue in our efforts. A very good video clip on the rehabilitation of a wounded Cinereous vulture is available on my website at http://www.wildsaurashtra.com . Maybe that will give you an idea of what bare resources we have to work with.
