My friend is having trouble keeping woodpeckers from pounding on her house. The concern isn't cosmetic, it's sleep. We work nights, and the birds religiously knock on the side of the house every morning. She's tried hanging CDs outside, putting fake owls on the roof, even putting chicken wire on the side of the house, but nothing keeps these birds away. Any suggestions?
