Hello,

I don't know how easy it is to identify a bumblebee. We saved this one from drowning this summer (july). After being removed from our pool this little one got the time to "catch his breath" before flying towards other flowers... It was the first time I photographied a bumblebee by being at only one inch of the insect

I think it is the "Usurper bee" (Psithyrus citrinus) but I'm not sure...

Can you help me on this one??? The picture was taken at Sherbrooke Quebec (near Vermont/Maine).

Thank you very much in advance,

Michel
