Butterfly identification...

pilonm Dec 05, 2006 08:58 AM

Hello,

Here is a butterfly that I would like to identify... This photograpy was taken against my window at Sherbrooke Quebec (near Maine/Vermont). I'm hesitating between Habrosyne scripta and Habrosyne gloriosa...

Do you have any idea about it? What do you think?

Thank you again in advance,

Michel

Youre welcome Michel, but it was more like a suggestion

I think you should go with scripta since pyritoides doesnt seem to be New World.

Hello Jeroen,

Finally I will go with H. scripta for several people indicated me that species... I can't reject H. gloriosa but as this species is less common in my area, H. scripta becomes a good guess!

Thank you very much for your help!

Michel
