Making Hybrid ants?

Hey dose anyone know a good way to make hybrid ants?

It could be done, but gene splicing is currently very expensive.

It does happen in nature but it's only been seen between 3 pairs of species. Lasius neoniger and Lasius alienus are one of them. Solenopsis invicta does it with one of the native Fire Ants too, but I forget which.

That's quite interesting. I wasn't aware of any ant species forming hybrids.
