A huge tropical grasshopper to identify.

pilonm Mar 07, 2007 02:08 PM

Hello,

Here is a series of pictures concerning a huge grasshopper I found 2 weeks ago during my vacations in Venezuela (Margarita Island).

This grasshopper is probably the largest insect I found in the wild! It was around 5 inches long and it was impressing when it flies!!!

But I have no idea about its genum and species...

Any idea???

Regards,

Michel
