What kind of Moth is this?

This moth was found today on the side of a barn in south-western ohio in a forested remote mountain region.

Hypercompe scribonia (Giant Leopard Moth)--that's what it looks like to me.

Yes.. Leopard Moth. The caterpillar is very similar to the 'wooly bear' caterpillar.. except that it's much larger and all black and with extremely stiff bristles and the caterpillars skin in between the bristles is a dull red.
