i found this insect in the bathroom, the insect was a bit unfamiliar to me, im no expert by a long way so thought i'd check out a site and find out what it is??

i live in the uk, the surroundings are a field at the back leading onto a small forest, it has been very dry for the last few days and a bit cold at night, so i thought it had come in for refuge/to warm up a bit
