I cross posted to see if anyone would see the post quicker since the Scorpion forum seems to have died or something.. or possibly taking to hibernation a bit early... Anyway, my original post:

Normally I deal with snakes... used to deal with leopard geckos and now I'm starting into frogs and insects of some types. I've been looking around on the classifieds and such for the type of scorpion I want but I decided to ask you guys, with more expert opinions than I, what you'd recommend to someone asking for the requirements I'm going to list here.

1. Small species.. fruit fly to mealworm eating size.

2. Not too worried about defensive agression but more towards territorial agression between males and females. Would like to have ones that can remain in the same terrarium but I can also accomodate a need to split them up. Also these are not for handling at all.. more display and maybe breeding.

3. Slightly colorful.. a little of any color really.. yellows, golds, reds, blues, greens.. not particularly fussy as long as its not completely drab colored.

4. Not too difficult in terms of captive conditions. Hardy. medium humidity.. tolerant of room temperature of 68 to 80 degrees (No additional heating needed) and shifts in temperature.

5. High or low food requirement won't be an issue. With 6 flightless fruityfly cultures going and 3 mealworm colonies I don't think between 1 and 3 scorpions will make a big dent.

6. Relatively inexpensive would be a big bonus until I see how I do with keeping them.

So.. hopefully someone can come up with a few species that can meat some if not all of my requirements.. Or if you think of a species that doesn't fit one or 2 qualifications tell me which they are and I'll see if I can revise my planning. The only very very firm sticking points are the small size and temperature tolerance. Unless of coure there's a larger species that can subsist entirely on pinkie mice and still fits the other requirements besides Emporor Scorpions.

Anyway, for those of you who can answer.. thank you very much in advance. I appreciate whatever time you may take out to answer me.
