OBT issue... question...

Buggzter Sep 20, 2007 10:18 PM

Ok, I know it's likely shedding, BUT...

The 4-5" OBT is in it's hide. Webbed the top of the hide thickly with white. THen went INTO the hide and webbed the floor, the top, and the sides thickly, then closed it up.

I peaked in for curiosity, and found it in what LOOKS to be a death curl - right-side-up, legs right by the body, as if it were hiding from light (very dim light at the time) or in the death curl... Any ideas???

I'm just hoping it's shedding... I just worry, lol! All but 6 of my 35 T's have shed in the past 30 days, so I'm hoping it's just more of that (27 are under 3" tho). I've only had T's for 5 months right now, so I don't know much...

Thanks!!!!!!!!

I agree, it's probably shedding. My OBT has always sealed itself up in its hide to shed. Plus they are pretty bulletproof Ts. Almost impossible to kill, so the death curl is unlikely, unless it was exposed to chemicals of some sort.

Thanks - I don't know this sp. all that well, yet. We mostly have babies, so they grow as we learn... It's just that this T is NOT acting normal. No chemicals in our house, except occasional cleaning in the bathroom and kitchen... She'll (?) normally bite at ANYTHING anywhere near her, but she isn't wanting to do that for about the past 4 days. She did come out last night for awhile, but hid quickly when the light came on.

I'll update when anything changes. :D
