Last night I was lucky enough to watch my A.Versicolor molt for a bit. I left and about 20 minutes later came back and a cricket got up to the top corner of the cage, where my T's web was, munching away on his old leg. I slid open the cage a bit to grab the cricket and throw him in my ornimental's cage. I closed THe Versicolor's cage, and he continued his molt. This morning I checked up on him, and he looked curled up, not dead, but just hanging out. about 5 hours later, I came back and he was in the same position, dead (not moving atleast). He still had one leg in the old exoskeleton, but showed no signs of any trama exept for a small portion of one of his legs with a yellow smug on it(prolly web).
I left him for a bit, and he didn't wake up. no reaction to my hand, or any object =^(
I think I stressed him by opening the cage, I tried to be real gentle, he was about the size of a quarter.
Has this happened to anyone?
