First Collection

I have had a few different types of tarantulas for the past 5 years and I am starting enlarge my collection. I have custom built plexi glass tanks that are 12" in all dimentions with a drop down fron door. If i get alot of tarantulas I would not have enough room or to get all of those containers. I was wondering what size cages do most of yall keep your spiders in? I have heard of putting them in the plastic kritter keepers, but what size to use? Any info would be helpful, thanks.

All depends on what you have. I have some slow growing spiderlings that are in 2" vials and they will be in them for a few years. I also have a couple in 10 gallon tanks. I have an adult P. murinus in a small KK, but she could probably go in a med. Many arboreals will do well in a 1 gallon rubbermaid jar. Some will do well wiht a 12 x 12 floor, some need more, some need less.

Thanks all, I use the flat KK's for my rose hairs, and I can have custom glass tanks made cheap to, I guess that the size of the tank depends on the size and needs of the T's.
